Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on Web Developer to join our mission-critical simulator development team. The selected candidate will help design and develop a next-generation, scalable, fault-tolerant, global online platform for quantitative financial modeling. Our next stage of growth includes expanding the global footprint of our web-based simulation engine, creating this new opportunity.
Job Requirements
· Expertise in Python web frameworks such as Django, Flask and others
· Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript
· Demonstrated experience developing scalable and robust software web applications
· Experience with popular Javascript libraries and tools such as React.js, jQuery, NPM
· Working experience with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
· Experience in DevOps: thorough knowledge in one webserver (Apache/NGINX/Tomcat eg. SSL, caching, routing, HTTP/2, CORS, domains), monitoring, orchestration
· Experience with CI/CD and version control systems (Gitlab preferred)
· Experience with microservices, caching tools, data visualization, log collection and aggregation, search, queuing systems, Go language or distributed systems is plus.
· A solid background in Unix/Linux environment and Shell scripting
· Excellent debugging and problem solving skills.
· Finance Experience is not required
