Job Description
- Achieve sales target and related objectives.
- Perform regular visit to existing customers to maintain good relationship.
- Visit potential customers to create new account/new opportunities.
- Co-ordinate with internal departments (Customer Service, Technical R&D, etc.) to meet customer requirements.
- Provide technical and sales assistance to customers.
- Monitor market requirement to generate updated market information.
- Keep track of market intelligence and keep Business Manager updated
- Prepare and submit monthly, weekly and other reports as required to Business Manager
- Build up relevant stakeholder relationships internally
- This Sales Manager must possess the business savvy to influence and gain alignment with both external and internal senior level key decision makers as well as all levels of the organization. He or she acts, as a consultant to the client group in order to develop an understanding of the client’s competition, industry trends, and market forces affecting the business and product needs. He or she is responsible for implementing pricing strategies.
Job Requirements
- 4-years college degree, with a preference for technical or sales/marketing (or equivalent experience) required.
- 4-8 years successfully proven experience in sales in an industrial environment required, marketing and customer service experience also valued. Less experienced but high potential candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in the adhesive industry is compulsory.
- Expertise in adhesive application for the woodworking business would be a tremendous bonus.
