Job Description
The Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst is responsible for detailed controlling, forecasting, budgeting and analyzing of SGA costs for Herbalife Vietnam. The role acts as financial business partner support to Management team or department heads ‘s decision making. The in-depth operational and financial knowledge of this role is dedicated to provide financial insight highlighting both financial and operational risks and opportunities for business growth and deploy the saving cost initiatives as well as to protect operating margin. Main responsibilities are as follow:
- Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
- Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
- Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
- Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure the financial reporting true and fair.
- Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
- Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
- Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization resources or investment returns.
- Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials
- Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards
- Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools
Job Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The following are the minimum qualifications an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position.
Skills/Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Finance Management.
- CIMA/ACCA or equivalent would be an advantage.
- Minimum of 1-3 years experiences in similar role
– analysis, reporting, data synthesizing, a must. Preferably within an International/ Multi-national company with a US parent.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel;
- Capable of understanding the global picture through attention to details as appropriate;
- Proven ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment, and to lead and drive complex operational initiatives;
- Ability to share knowledge and take on the in the role as mentor for junior colleagues;
- Conduct oneself in the manner that is fitting of a true business partner to Country Directors, Commercial and Operational departments heads;
- Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work independently;
- Excellent documentation skills with attention to detail and thoroughness;
- Fast Learner
