Job Description
- Manage vendors from offered capacity, updated forecast, fill rate, pull forward, material status, production schedule, shipment schedule Manage vendors on capacity management/planning to make sure all orders go smoothly without issues of cost/quality/delivery
- Effectively evaluate and report on vendor performance, agree and execute improvement plans through vendor scorecard and timely reports Manages day-to-day operations of bulk production delivery ensuring service level agreement and calendar milestones are met Manages relationship with our vendors and the UK headquarters, fostering a performance culture setting our Brand at the forefront of ‘best in class’ supply chain management
- Communicates the product and sourcing strategies to vendors and leads day-to-day management of vendor relationships within their area Responsible for sourcing new vendors where gaps are identified
- Coaches merchandisers in the management of bulk production critical paths
Job Requirements
- At least 5 years’ merchandising experience with at least 2 years in supervisory role
- Experience in relevant product categories is preferable, but not essential
- Sound knowledge of supply chain management on global basis
- Effective calendar management in an international brand, retail or FMCG environment
