To perform audit works in areas which are defined by Head of Internal Audit from time to time, and in accordance with the established audit scopes, approach, methodology, techniques to achieve desired audit objectives.
Conduct audit field works as assigned and in accordance with audit standards, in a timely and effective manner.
Highlight audit findings for reporting as well as to make practical recommendations for improvement/ corrective actions of the internal control system.
Coordinate and work with Legal and compliance dept. to ensure that the company has a sound legislation compliance check system.
Follow up and consolidate periodic reports on relevant issues – such as risk reports and internal control self-assessment reports of all departments timely.
Assist Head of Internal Audit in updating/ developing applicable audit programs.
Assist Head of Internal Audit to make budget plan for new fiscal year.
Follow up outstanding audit issues and ensure them closed timely.
Access to understand the operations of life insurance industry
Work on other projects or assignments as request by Head of Internal audit from time to time.

EDUCATION / TRAINING

University degree plus a recognized accounting (e.g. ACCA) or auditing designation (CPA) or legal background.

Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written
Results oriented; ability to balance multiple priorities and projects
Sound business judgment in assessing significance of issues and developing value added recommendations
Ability to deal effectively with employees at all levels

Three years to five years work experience in audit work or compliance, preferably in the financial services industry
