1.     Job title: Laboratory Manager

2.     Report to: General QFS Manager – QA Manager.

3.     Number of team members: 15.

4.     Job overview:

-         To be responsible for the in-house laboratory activities in ofi Spice Vietnam, including chemistry, microbiological and instrument laboratory.

-         To be responsible for analytical activity quality assurance in all the laboratories across ofi Spices Vietnam (GLP, SOP).

-         To be responsible for laboratory system implementations e. ISO 17025 across ofi Spices Vietnam.

-         To be responsible for deployment any analytical activities, SOP from ofi globally.

5.     Main responsibilities and duties

-         Ensure that all of laboratory activities complies of Health Safety Environmental policies, company’s regulations.

-         Develop, implement, assess, and maintain GLP, SOP, laboratory quality assurance, system in ofi Spice Vietnam laboratories.

-         Participate the PT programs per requirements.

-          Ensure the compliance of GLP, SOP in laboratory operations.

-         Set-up/ implements/ maintain and enhances the in-house laboratories of physical, chemical, pesticide residues, mycotoxin, and microbiological analysis. Provide the direction of enhancing in-house laboratories to fulfil new analytical requirements of the business.

-         Manage the chemical, media stock for the laboratories (stock available, consumable stock etc).

-         Manage the laboratory equipment (internal calibration/ verification, lab equipment repair / maintenance services etc).

-         Monitor/ train laboratory technicians.

-     Implementation of Environmental Monitoring Program at laboratory side.
