Job Description

Operation Management

 

1.     Always aware of the importance of sales volume and never cease to make sure effort is made, supervise to continue to upsell while not compromising on guest satisfaction.

2.     Supervise the work of all staff in department. Evaluated their job performance and make recommendation and evaluations to the manager.

3.     Assist in assuring that all standard service procedures, maintain personal cleanliness, courtesy and quick efficiency on the part of all outlet and any staff who are present.

4.     Inform of coming function and events.

5.     Assist staff to the various duties in a sensible and diligent way with maximum efficiency and service for customer.

6.     Constantly check the appearance, orderliness, cleanliness and proper setup of the outlet and its related areas.

7.     Ensure that soiled or damaged equipment is not put into use.

8.     Checking maintenance of all equipment located or used in the areas under their supervision and request for immediate repairs where needed.

9.     Convey any guest criticism on quality of products and service and appearance to the General Manager.

10.  Although their outlet is their primary responsibility, they may be called upon in cases of emergency to help out in other departments, or to extend their supervision to other areas in the absence of other supervisors.

11.  Arrange the table for guest and work closely with the hostess team.

12.  Double check everything before open and close.

13.  Arrange duty roster weekly for staff.

14.  Handle any guest’s complains effectively and diplomatically and build good relationship with guest.

15.  Work closely with the GM assistance to ensure smooth relation with all government officers coming to the venue.

16.  Look after VIP guests.

 

People Management

1.     Recruits, selects, motivates and develops employees to work following the operational, financial, administrative philosophies willing to become multi skilled and perform multi tasks.

2.     Through hands on management, supervises closely all service employees in the performance of their duties in accordance with policies & procedures and applicable laws.

3.     Control the labour cost by scheduling to minimize wastage of manpower.

 

Organizational duties

1.     Attend management meeting periodically and when required.

2.     On behalf of Management, delegated to welcome and host Government Delegation coming to the venue for Inspection or other purposes.

Perform other duties being assigned by the BOD when arisen

Job Requirements

1.     Bachelor degree or above is preferred.

2.     2 years of experience in similar position.

3.     Requires a working knowledge of bar/night club food and beverage services, policies or operations.

4.     Requires knowledge of computer equipment and systems.

5.     Knowledge of Food & Beverage operations including security and safety programs, personnel and labor relations, repairs, maintenance, budget forecasting, quality assurance programs, hospitality law, and long-range planning.

6.     Strong leadership skills to motivate and develop staff and to ensure accomplishment of goals.

7.     Ability to set priorities, plan, organize, and delegate.

8.     Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines.

9.     Fluent in spoken and written English and Vietnamese is encouraged.

10.  Possess superior diplomatic and communication skills, both oral and written.

11.  Computer literate and effectiveness.

12.  Very well-organized and detail-oriented.
