Job Description

Responsibility:

·       The Quality/Process Engineer leads the efforts in the implementation and maintenance of all quality system requirements including ISO9001, AS9100, NADCAP, and any certification as required.

·       Address customer concerns. SCAR, DMR, determine root cause, and provide preventive actions.

·       Working with customer & ****  program managers to provide solutions to customer needs & requirements.

·       Designing fixtures and tooling for encapsulation (potting) and conformal coating products.

·       Developing process instructions & production work instructions, visual aids.

·       Establish and implement process control plans to include capability studies, gage repeatability and reproducibility (Gage R&R) studies.

·       Develop and implementation of SPC activities, including originating objectives, goals and time tables, and implementing new techniques as they become available.

·       Ensures Housekeeping and Health & Safety Standards are maintained.

·       Lead & drive continuous improvement including Lean concept across the organization

·       Troubleshoot all machines & equipment as needed.

 

Job Requirements

Education and Qualifications:

·       Experience with PCB conformal coating and encapsulation standards IPC, MIL, NASA, UL, ATEX, ESD.

·       Experience with dispensing/coating robots (Nordson, PVA, Asymtek, Techon, etc.) a definite plus

·       Working knowledge of epoxies, urethanes, silicones, acrylics, etc.

·       College or University Degree in Quality, Engineering or related field

·       Minimum 3 years' experience in a Quality/Process related role, preferably in Defense, Aerospace field

·       Experienced with IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001

·       Experience in handling audits.

·       Experience with dispensing/coating robots (Nordson, PVA, Asymtek, Techon, etc.) a definite plus

·       Working knowledge of epoxies, urethanes, silicones, acrylics, etc.

·       Ability to support and/or lead root cause analysis, disciplined problem-solving and decision-making processes.
