Job Description

  • To become a team leader for company
  • Executive/Representative/Technicians on site
  • To be a representative to communicate between company, United Paint, site team, and customers
  • To ensure company/UP site team members practice and implement company Global Automotive Operating Disciplines
  • To develop good working relations and teamwork between company site team members with customer
  • To support in planning, coordinating, and executing development projects on products already commercialized or new products with commercial potential, to meet customer and PPG requirements using established Secure Launch protocols in Vietnam.
  • To conduct and coordinate all sales and service activities on assigned customer in Vietnam
  • To monitor line parameters and work on process optimization to achieve best possible performance and results as per customer’s requirements
  • To engage in robot bell application with all coatings, primer, basecoat and clear coat which also includes paint mix circulation system operation and maintenance.
  • To work through the repair paint systems and train customers through the process.
  • To identify process and paint related defects for preparing a corrective action plan to resolve and improve quality as well as performance.
  • To review and discuss all issues with customer relative to product, process, and quality and track in PDCA.
  • To help troubleshoot any paint and process problems to all customers in Vietnam; monitor any special events at the customers such as tank drops, equipment revisions, quality audits.
  • To obtain customer production forecast regularly, assist to order proper materials, and monitor inventory.
  • To track usage, consumption, and performance of company paint materials
  • To issue weekly/monthly service and sales reports on timely basis
  • To issue reports that document company attitudes, positions, and performance.
  • To initiate and submit CAIR report on customer complaint for company to provide countermeasure and resolution
  • Problem solving in cooperation with the customer , service team & technical department
  • Daily, Weekly and Monthly meeting as customer required
  • Manage on process optimization to achieve best possible coating result
  • Manage issue color harmony body/APAD
  • Management of line trial`s, e.g. new color
  • Insure alignment with company´s and Customers safety requirements for the whole team 
  • Organize training session for the direct reports were required
  • Communication with all company and customer departments on a frequent basis
  • Communicate any customer process changes into company
  • Establish and build strong relationship with the customer on all level 
  • To work closely with the KAM/Business Manager and UP team members for any potential business opportunity in Vietnam
  • To practice strong teamwork and customer relationship building at all levels.
  • To practice and implement Global Automotive Operating Disciplines.
  • To comply with ESH, Ethics, and other company policies

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in chemistry/chemical engineer or above; good command of written and spoken English;
  • The individual will need to be hands-on and perform with minimum supervision.
  • Minimum 2-year experience in an automotive paint shop or paint application or automotive production engineering or working as Chemist, preferably in an automotive related environment.
