Job Description
· Take the lead in coordinating/developing/managing all aspects of the office.
· Build, lead, train, and guide for the team to achieve company goals.
· Engage in sales, operation and management.
· Recruitment, training for staffs.
· Business developments with direct customer, agent, suppliers.
· Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
· Perform effective negotiations with carriers, forwarders, and other logistics partners
· Manage budget and track spending for related activities
· Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators
Other responsibilities as needed
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field preferred
- 5 - 10 years of related work experience ideally within ocean freight, airfreight, carrier management or supply chain logistics required
- At least 3 years in sales manager and 3 years in operation.
- Experience in leading a team of 5 people up (sales and operation).
- Experience with the mid-size and large global freight forwarding companies; a strong global network of agents, affiliations, and partnerships required
- Good knowledge of international freight forwarding and local market.
- Chinese or Korean is added on.
