Job Description
- Operations
- Monitoring and Coordinating Shopping Carts PO processing, PO compliance reports, vendors
- and asset lists maintenance.
- Process Management
- Identify metrics, tools, and processes to optimize local sourcing practices well-structured and ensure delivery of results
- Propose any improvement to tools and processes in procure-to-pay process
- Maintains repository of local legal agreements to minimizing company risk
- Business Strategy/ Knowledge
- Provide support, knowledge, feedback to Affiliate Brand teams for projects driven on a regional or global basis
- Lead sourcing projects within the country, brands and departments
- Participate in resolution of any constraints and issues related to purchasing
- Manage supplier events (e.g., RFI/RFQ/RFPs), their bids evaluations and report results to end users (Finance, GM, Brands….)
- Measure and track internal procurement performance4) Change Management
- Ability to quickly ramp up and grasp detailed functional content when engaged with other cross-functional team members
- Positively drive changes and ensure goals and processes are moving forward towards excellence
- Supplier Relationship Management
- Evaluate supplier capabilities and establish sources for new technologies and markets as driven by business requirements
- Identify, select, and pre-qualify best in class regional suppliers
- Measure and manage the overall performance of suppliers implemented with KPIs
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate within the APAC Procurement teams and local buyer networks
- Partner with Legal to create risk managed contracts
- Communicate progress of projects in meeting performance goals. Maintain and issue status reports
- Keep appropriate parties aware of issues; and escalate issues early and appropriately
- Ensure that the various departments collaborate within each project to deliver best results
- Other tasks: as assigned by Supply Chain Manager
Job Requirements
- An undergraduate degree in relevant area such as operations, technology or business & administration
- Experience in Marketing service, Event Planning, Activation and retailing corporations or FMCG is preferable
- Professional purchasing or procurement certification (e.g., ISM CPM) desirable
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience at supervisor level
- Demonstrated successful results in managing purchasing activities within a market for mix categories
- Proven ability to manage internal and external parties to ensure successful and professional purchasing activities
- Good negotiation skills
- Diplomacy with strong listening and analyzing skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Willingness and openness to change processes
- Good knowledge of English
- Knowledge of vendors in developing countries is an advantage
- Computer literate
- Knowledge of SAP SRM is an advantage
- Ability to coach and support SAP SRM knowledge to team members
