Job Description

 

Direct report to: Technical Manager/ Service manager

 

 

1.         Primary Responsibilities

 

1.1.            To provide support to our customers in all technical clarifications and matters.

 

1.2.            To provide a supporting role between customers and subsidiaries and/or factories during execution of orders. Aim is to achieve the required information, such as specification requirement, drawing approvals, technical clarification, etc.

 

1.3.            To provide technical presentation or training to End Users, OEMs, and Contractors as and when required.

 

1.4.            To assist customer on site, seal installation, survey rotating equipment such as pumps, agitators, compressors.

 

1.5.             To collect operating conditions of equipment for trouble shooting or mechanical seal selection. To co-operate with customer to solve issue at site.

 

1.6.             To analyze root cause of failure, do inspection report and solve technical issue.

 

1.7.            To use machines such as lapping, sanblaster, drilling… repairing service job and do hand on job such as cleaning parts, seal assembly or disassembly.

 

1.8.            When required, to provide on-site support and attend to troubleshooting at customer’s site.

 

1.9.            Liaison with Germany and Japan on technical matters.

 

1.10.        Other ad-hoc duties that could help in the growth of business growth.

Job Requirements

 

1.         Position Requirements

·         Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent with a recognized university.

·         2-3 years’ industry experience and knowledge in mechanical and service job.

·         HSE (Health – Safety - Environment) knowledge is an advantage.

·         English for speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.

·         Ability to analyze root cause of failure and solve technical issue.

·         Identify product and propose equivalent one.

·         Survey equipment and do product inspection report

·         Do hand on job, such as cleaning parts, seal assembly or disassembly.

·         Understanding technical terms and rotation equipment.

·         Ability to travel to provide supports and solve issue at customer’s site.

·         Collaborate with sales department to support customers.

·         Highly motivated self-starter.

·         Possess excellent planning, analytical and organization skills.

·         Dedicated, committed, a good team player with strong leadership qualities.

·         Good communication and interpersonal skills.

·         Computer literacy is essential.

·         Willingness to travel within short notice.
