Job Description
Job Purpose:
· Overall responsibility for Quality Assurance/ Quality Control in Vietnam
· In liaison with the Regional Quality Manager, monitor the QA/QC procedures, performance and suggest improvements when necessary.
· Enhance the cooperation between Purchasing Team and Quality Team.
Key Accountabilities:
· Responsible for inspecting goods and shipments deriving from suppliers in Vietnam or other Asian countries.
· Assist purchasing staff with pre-audits of new suppliers.
· Monitor the implementation of QC Inspection Guidelines of the company.
· Check development products, pre-shipment goods and provide comments/advises (risk assessment) to Purchasing team or suppliers for the product or/and production improvement. Conduct factory audits and follow up audits in regard to Quality management compliance.
· Achieve quality assurance operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; identifying and resolving problems; completing audits; determining system improvements; implementing change.
· Develop quality assurance plans by conducting hazard analyses, identifying critical control points and preventive measures, monitor procedures, corrective actions, and verification procedures.
· Validate quality control processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes, measure production, determine operational and performance qualification, update and implement quality assurance procedures.
· Frequent updates of legal standards of European/ Scandinavian countries requirement.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
· College and/or University degree in Mechanical Engineering/Manufacturing/Supply Chain/Quality Management or related technical background.
· Familiar with international quality control standards such as AQL, REACH, CpK, EUTR, CE etc.
· Basic knowledge of European safety standards, norms as well as legal safety norms required in Scandinavian markets.
· Good and fluent in writing and speaking English.
· 7+ years working experience either in a quality assurance agency or as quality control engineer in an international trading organization and/or with quality (QA/QC) control in production and/or product development experiences.
· Understanding of production flow and quality management in a manufacturing environment.
· Experience in guiding suppliers achieving improvement on various areas through systematic prevention.
· Strong communication skills, analytical and conceptual thinking.
· Frequent Traveling is expected.
